KB 240107: Systems go into agentless state after importing MPs

After importing the Security Management packs some or all systems may go into an agentless state.

Issue: License discovery conflicts with some objects in the OpsMgr environment and for unknown reasons puts objects in an agentless state

Symptoms: Agents that were managed suddenly go agentless after improting Security MPs

Cause: License service uses SCOM connector to discover objects via the SDK which can cause unknown problems in normal OpsMgr processing resulting in managed Agents going into a Agentless state.

Scope: SCOM SP1, can impact some or all agents and RMS

Product/s: Secure Vantage Base Library 3.0.6500.0

Resolution

Customers can request v.3.0.6600.0 of the Security Management packs, which updates the base library and license service to resolve this issue. Contact Support

Please note manually removing MPs from the OpsMgr console does not uninstall the license service or resolve agentless issue. To remove the MPs they must be uninstall via the Add/Remove programs option.
